More Manson Lyrics – Stalin Quote
There are enough serious topics on this website that a few pop culture references show a different side of me.

The death of one is a tragedy
The death of one is a tragedy
The death of one is a tragedy
The death of a million is just a statistic
That is a quote from Josef Stalin.

First time I heard him, I was hooked, such great industrial. \m/
After awhile though he seemed more about shock value….
Guess he had fun rockin’, nostalgia he will remain ;0.

The first time I bought manson cds as a teenager, I went into a cd warehouse and just grabbed everyone and told the guy that I “wanted to shock people” when he looked at me like “why the hell are you buying a bunch of used Manson cds.”
Nobody gives a damn if you buy gangster rap though but Manson certainly shocks. Perhaps it is because Manson’s lead singer is Jewish/White, yet attacking establishment ideology that shocks people.

Your comment is a strong enough indication to promote both sides of the issue to the reader. No need to remove the post.

Grover Furr is a proud Stalinist, so his reaction is naturally to demand censorship of what he claims is disinformation. He also claims the victims in the Moscow purge trials were guilty, Trotsky was a Nazi-Japanese spy, etc. Judging historical criminals by whether or not statements attributed to them can be thoroughly documented is absurd. Stalin was responsible for the deaths of millions, as was Hitler, even if he was singing Georgian love songs while he did it.

You attack his claims, but I don’t see you bringing any evidence against him. If he says it is a misquote, and from the source he cited it seems to be likely, then it is a misquote. Why would you think that has any bearing on any of the claims made against Stalin.
Fail Schwartz, big fail.
